Selling my 13 year old VW Golf to Russ was a very straightforward and pleasant experience.
I came to his service, after a near miss with a scammer who was abusing the shortcomings of the Motorway app.
Russ’s initial quote was honest and without pressure. I was able to look at my other options and confirm it was a fair price, before Russ collected the car, with instant payment in my account before his departure.
I can recommended selling your car to Russ for an easy, no stress and fair sale. Don’t be fooled by those higher initial valuations from Webuyanycar.com (which will be chipped away when you attend) or Motorway (which, in my case, was a price the scammer never intended to pay).

Nice to know there is a local car dealer that doesn't try to bluff and bluster you with a load of "faults" just to knock you down in price. Russ was great with the up front communication, available at the time we agreed to view, looked around and test drove my car, giving a fair evaluation and price.
Somewhere between £500 and £1000 better than WBAC (which they will, at stupidly low offers) so use We Buy Your Car Sheffield instead.
Easy transaction, money paid to the bank immediately and a free taxi home.

Excellent straight forward service, I initially contacted we buy your car Sheffield using the online form, Russ phoned me back the next day and after a 5 minute chat about my car, we agreed on a value. Genuinely couldn’t fault Russ with anything he said. He was very fair and completely honest about his assessment of my car, and quoted a decent price for it (a lot better than webuyanycar, and no “admin fee + VAT” nonsense!).

Russ was kind enough to fit me in at the last minute on a Tuesday (I hadn’t realised We Buy Any Car were closed on Tuesdays which was my last day to sell before my new car arrived).

I drove to his house and he sorted everything out after some quick checks of the body work and a test drive around the block. Finance paid up and now I have space for my new car which arrives on Thursday 😁

We came across We Buy Your Car Sheffield when looking to sell our car and were so glad that we did. As always, we looked at Google Reviews first to provide us with other people’s experience and found 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews which completely reassured us. Every communication we received from Russ was prompt and informative. We haven’t used this kind of service before so we had a few reservations about how it would all work, but Russ explained everything clearly and all went smoothly from start to finish. He offered us a fair price for our car that we were happy with and he never tried to haggle or change the price even though we took a few days to remove our private plate from the car. We live pretty close by to Russ so he came in person to view the car initially and then agreed a pick up date and time to suit us. He completed the transaction with us in our home so we could see that the payment had been made and he updated the DVLA details using the log book before the car left us. We would not hesitate to recommend Russ and the We Buy Your Car Sheffield service. Found Russ’s Ad it really intrigued me as this is the type of person who like to deal with (no nonsense ) Arranged to meet up with him . I gave him an honest history of the car I was selling he gave me what I felt was an honest assessment of why he was offering the price he did.
I have no doubt if we had gone to the big players it wouldn’t have been as good a conversation or got the same price.
We agreed the price and a day to handover. He turned up when he said he would, did all the necessaries and the money was in the bank within seconds.
I’m hoping to not be selling for a long time but if I did it would be to Russ. I’ll be recommending him to friends and family and anyone who reads this .

I came across Russ by accident to be honest, but so happy that I did, he communicated with me In a prompt manner and he came to my home to view my car, I was happy with the offer (which was more than me part exchanging it) he sent all documents re invoice via email and collected the car as agreed, no hassle for me as Russ dealt with my finance and made payments before leaving with the car.

Russ was brilliant.
